Playhouse District Association
The Playhouse District Association’s mission is to enhance the economic vitality of the Playhouse District as Pasadena’s center for culture, commerce, and community. The Playhouse District Association manages a 32-block area in the heart of Downtown Pasadena, providing special services to property owners, including clean and safe programs, marketing and special events, and planning and advocacy.

The Playhouse Block Party is a celebration of arts and culture as Pasadena Playhouse celebrates its centennial anniversary with a FREE block party on El Molino, in partnership with the Playhouse District Association.

Your leashed pet is welcome in the outdoor areas. However, only service animals are allowed in venues.
What is the alcohol policy for the Playhouse Block Party?
No Alcohol can be taken in or out of event area. Alcohol will be on sale at the Block Party but you must obtain a 21 + over drinking wristband to purchase and consume alcohol. Tickets for alcohol can be purchased at designated ID check booths.
Is smoking allowed at the Playhouse Block Party?
No smoking is permitted at the event.
Is it kid friendly?
YES! Families can enjoy activities in the Kids’ Zone centered around a stage erected in the Playhouse Courtyard. Throughout the day, guests of all ages can experience interactive and immersive activity booths created by community partners and local art organizations.
Are any items prohibited at the Playhouse Block Party?
Firearms, drugs, weapons, sharp objects, glass containers, etc. are not allowed at the event. Large bags and backpacks are subject to search and may not be allowed.
